​The New England Women of the ELCA Board met on January 24, 2026, for a day of prayer, planning, and collaborative leadership. Valerie Holcomb opened the meeting with prayer, grounding the board in purpose before moving into updates and new initiatives.

Churchwide WELCA Triennial Convention
July 13–14, 2026 (Zoom)
The Churchwide Convention meets online July 13–14 for elections, memorials, and governance decisions. Delegates participate via Zoom, with materials provided in advance.
Churchwide WELCA Triennial Gathering
July 16–19, 2026 — Des Moines, Iowa
Women from across the church will gather in Des Moines for worship, workshops, service, and community. Registration is required for the four‑day in‑person Gathering.
