​Three Expressions of Women of the ELCA

Women of the ELCA is a three‑expression community of women acting boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. From local Units that meet often — gathering weekly, monthly, quarterly, or, based on location and size, at least annually — to the mobilizing work of the 7B Synodical Women’s Organization supporting Units and strengthening shared ministry, to the Churchwide Women’s Organization guiding the mission and legislative life of our community, together we carry out the purpose and ministry of Women of the ELCA across all expressions.​ Explore how leadership, membership, and mission come together in 7B.

Women of the ELCA Triennial Convention
• Date: July 13–14, 2026
The Convention is scheduled for July 13–14, 2026 via zoom. This is the Churchwide business meeting for the Women of the ELCA.

Women of the ELCA Triennial Gathering
• Date: July 16–19, 2026
The Gathering is scheduled for July 16–19, 2026 in Des Moines, Iowa. Women from across the church will come together for worship, workshops, service, and community throughout the four‑day event. 

New England WELCA Biennial Convention 2026
• Date: October 22–24, 2026​
The biennial New England WELCA Convention offers a weekend of worship, learning, and connection. Voting members and guests gather to reflect on the year, participate in workshops, and engage in the mission of our synod.
